Media Day

Exhibitors are encouraged to be prepared for media inquires on Monday, February 8, preceding opening day. Media from various trade publications and mainstream sources attend the official Media Day breakfast and special events. During the breakfast, media receive a VIP preview to World Ag Expo. Following the scheduled events, media may also roam the grounds for pre-show interviews and exhibit previews. Ag Source Magazine invites you to the Exhibitor Reception on Tuesday, February 9. The reception begins at 5 p.m., immediately following the close of the expo, in the Heritage Complex Banquet Hall at the west end of the expo grounds. Come to eat, drink and mingle with other exhibitors.

Prayer Breakfast

Ag Expo Prayer Breakfast

Wednesday, February 10

Speakers at this year’s breakfast explore the theme of “An Eternal View of Agriculture” as they emphasize the importance of faith within the context of the agricultural community. Keynote speaker Gale Bamford, a partner in Bamford Dairy Cattle, LLC., graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1966 and has invested his professional life since then in dairy cattle genetics. For the past 25 years, he and son Todd have raised dairy replacement heifers, and for 17 years, Bamford has owned and bred registered Holstein cattle. He enjoys serving as a mentor to men in one-on-one and smallgroup settings. Two seating times—7 a.m. and 9 a.m.—at the Heritage Complex Banquet Hall accommodate exhibitors and attendees.

West Coast Nationals Power Pulling Series

Tuesday–Wednesday, February 9–10

Be sure to attend West Coast Nationals Power Pulling Series for post-expo evening entertainment. Exclusive to the West Coast, high-powered tractor and four-wheel-drive truck pullers from across North America compete for class championship titles on Tuesday, February 9, and Wednesday February 10.

Gates open at the Tulare County Fairgrounds at 4:30 p.m., with the main event beginning at 6 p.m. both days. For more infromation about West Coast Nationals go to www.westcoastnationals.com.

The reception is held from 5–7 p.m. in the Banquet Hall on the first floor of the Heritage Complex.

Agricultural Leadership Alumni World Ag Expo Breakfast

The California Agricultural Leadership Foundation and partners invite you to attend the 16th Annual California Agricultural Leadership World Ag Expo Breakfast. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. for coffee and juice. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. in the Heritage Complex Banquet Hall. This year’s event features Mark Mayfield, a humorist and one of the most sought-after corporate comedians. He has shared the stage with celebrities such as Paul Newman, Peter Frampton and Colin Powell. Raised on a farm, he received two degrees Magna Cum Laude from Kansas State University,served as National President of the Future Farmers of America and spent time as a teacher, lobbyist and nightclub owner. A national convention planner recently called Mayfield “one of the very few really funny, inspiring men in America today.” He is considered an agricultural inspirational speaker, and he will talk about change and the importance of managing change in life, in agriculture, in business.
