  • All temporary structures at World Ag Expo will be subject to the approval of expo management. This board reserves the right to refuse installation of any temporary structure which they deem unacceptable to the expo.
  • Each temporary structure must have a validated California flame certificate sewn into each piece
    of fabric installed.
  • All tents over 200 square feet and canopies of 400 square feet must have a permit issued from the Tulare Fire Prevention Bureau. Please contact Jim Duke, Tulare City Battalion Chief/Fire Marshal, at (559) 684-4302. There is no charge for this permit.
  • All canopies must be secured to the ground by using not less than 1 ½” x 36” steel stakes. Canopies must be secured to the stake by using not less than 3/16” rope and must be secured from the top corner positions down to the stake. Securing canopies by use of tape or any other method is unacceptable.
  • All canopies or tenting must be staked within the perimeter of each exhibitor space. Any stake lines that exceed perimeters on exhibitor’s lots will be removed immediately.
  • All tenting of push-pole or bale ring type construction must be guyed out at a minimum of 8’ and not more than 10’. Any tent that does not conform to these guying practices will either be removed from the expo site or not allowed onto it prior to the expo.
  • All tent center poles must be mounted on mud blocks secured by using not less than two each 1 ½” x 36” steel stakes. These stakes and mud blocks must be tied to each other by using not less than 3/8” polypropylene rope.
  • All pole-type tenting shall not exceed 25’ in height at its highest point.
  • Any exhibitor using a contractor other than the official expo contractors, must provide to World Ag Expo a list of these contractors, along with phone number of employees that may be reached 24 hours, 7 days a week, 30 days in advance of expo opening. Please see form in the form section.
