Ride and Drive Offers Chance to Test Equipment

Six major exhibitors will be offering hands-on experiences in the Ride and Drive area of World Ag Expo at the International Agri-Center. John Deere, Topcon Precision Ag, Gehl Company, AutoFarm, American Honda and Yamaha Motors will have equipment for attendees to test drive. The Ride and Drive demonstration area on the north end of the World Ag Expo grounds offers the opportunity to test-drive the latest models from a number of vehicle and equipment manufacturers.
Please Note: Exhibitor in the Ride and Drive area may request a form of ID to confirm age of attendee.

Ride and Drive Lot #2
John Deere and Papé Machinery are proud to introduce the NEW D-Series Skid Steers and Compact Track Loaders and WAE attendees will have one of the first opportunities to experience the new operators station and test drive the machines. Our new customer-designed D-Series machines optimize lift capabilities, hydraulics and pushing forces to create an unequalled machine with improved productivity, increased up-time and lower operating costs.
The Ride‘N Drive area will provide operators a chance to run the new D-Series machine through a course designed to showcase the customer-driven features and improved capabilities. In addition to the new skid steers and compact track loaders attendees will be able to demo a backhoe loader, compact excavator and four wheel drive loader.

Topcon Precision Ag- Ride and Drive Lot #3
Topcon Precision Agriculture will be demonstrating the new AES-25 Electric Steering as well as System 150 complete autosteering, System 200 all-in-one console, System 110 lightbar guidance, and other high technology precision ag tools.
AES-25 provides the convenience of electric steering with full hydraulic performance.Compatible with System 150, System 200, and System 250, the AES-25 provides fast accurate steering response, convenient simple installation, reverse operation, and is easily transferred between machines. System150 provides flexible accuracy options from basic WAAS up to full RTK (up to 2 cm accuracy) with network correction capability. Well suited for steer-ready machines, System 150 also offers optional section and liquid rate control. System 150’s AGI-3 receiver is a complete integrated steering solution featuring Topcon’s G3 reception (receives all existing and planned satellites), state-of-the art inertial sensors, plus a direct steering interface with superior line acquisition/holding capabilities and full-terrain compensation. The system is easily upgradable with snap-in modules for RTK and networks. The GX-45 console features a high-visibility color screen with multiple guidance views, simple on-screen setup and automatic coverage mapping.

Topcon Precision Agriculture
Gehl Company - Ride and Drive Lot #4
Gehl will provide a full array of its products in the Ride and Drive area, including its 7810E skid loader, the most powerful skid loader in the industry. The company also will have all-wheel steer loaders, track loaders and midsize skid loaders with multiple controls. This will be the third year for Gehl, a company celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, to participate in the World Ag Expo Ride and Drive area.

AutoFarm - Ride and Drive Lot #5
AutoFarm will be demonstrating what the company calls the world’s first totally integrated precision farming system. The ParaDyme system offers a full suite of precision farming tools, including planter control, application control, yield monitoring, data logging and mapping, as well as GPS steering and remote real-time service and diagnostics.
The Central Business System also includes a factory-installed wireless system that integrates data mapping and other functions. The company’s new alliance with Ag Leader Technologies allows the ParaDyme system to operate with Ag Leader’s new Integra and Edge displays for further integration of precision farming functions. “It’s the most advanced precision ag system ever,” according to AutoFarm Manager of Communications Joe Robertson.

American Honda - Ride and Drive Lot #6
American Honda will showcase its Honda Big Red side-by-side multi-purpose utility vehicle. Company spokesman Lowell Christensen said the 2010 Big Red features comfortable side-by-side bucket seating for two with a low center of gravity for excellent stability. The multi-purpose utility vehicle also features cab safety features including doors and netting.The Big Red, model MUV700, features a 675 cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine with front and rear double wishbone suspension and a 75.7-inch wheelbase.
“It’s an all-day rider and it’s one of the widest units out there right now,” Christensen said. Drivers can drive the Big Red up the side of dirt hill see how it pulls and performs under a load off road.

Yamaha - Ride and Drive Lot #7
Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., will have a full stable of ATV and Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicles, in the ride and drive area of the 2010 World Ag Expo. WAE attendees will have the opportunity to personally test Yamaha’s 2010 Rhino 700 FI, the best selling SxS vehicle, and the 2010 Grizzly 550 FI, a utility ATV with fuel injection and electric power steering. Both have earned Field & Stream magazine’s “Best of the Best” honors, and the Grizzly took top honors at last year’s Farm Industry News ATV Rodeo. In addition to these popular machines, Yamaha will debut an all-new 2010-model off-road vehicle.
