Rain Bird Agriculture, a leading global manufacturer and provider of irrigation products and
services, will be debuting three new products at the 2024 World Ag Expo. These additions to
Rain Bird’s best-in-class product portfolio display the company’s legacy in irrigation, Intelligent
Use of Water™ philosophy and commitment to growers’ success with smart irrigation. During the
2024 World Ag Expo, Rain Bird representatives will be prepared to speak to media on these
topics and more:
Expanding product portfolio: Rain Bird is introducing two new products to the GritX™
portfolio, GritX DSV and GritX SDI Pressure Compensating Heavywall Dripline, as well
as the Micro Bird® Jet sprinkler.
Rain Bird’s exclusive GritX Technology ensures water is delivered directly to the plant
while preventing debris from clogging emitters through a self-flushing action. The
reliable, self-flushing Dual Seal Valve (DSV) emitter offers a built-in check valve
featuring anti-drain and anti-siphon functionality to ensure each plant gets the right
amount of water. GritX SDI, or Sub-Surface Drip Irrigation, features Rain Bird’s patented
Copper Shield™ Technology to protect from root intrusion and ensure consistent
watering even when you cannot see it.
The newest innovation in jet irrigation technology, Micro Bird Jet, will be showcased at
the World Ag Expo in advance of its launch later this year. Its simplicity and durability
promotes efficient watering for permanent crop growers.
The GritX Pressure Compensating Heavywall Dripline and Micro Bird sprinklers are just
two new products in Rain Bird’s portfolio of dependable precision irrigation solutions that
address customer needs, like labor accessibility and water efficiency.
The Intelligent Use of Water: Rain Bird recognizes that watering crops in a simple, yet
ultra-efficient manner is critically important to growers. The company’s philosophy, The
Intelligent Use of Water, showcases its history of innovation through the development of
easy-to-use, water-efficient irrigation products, designed to save water and energy. Rain
Bird’s team of irrigation professionals and agriculture experts are devoted to servicing
their customers’ needs without added complexity.
Legacy in agriculture: Rain Bird’s 90-year legacy in agriculture irrigation began in 1933
with the invention of the horizontal action impact drive sprinkler. Today, Rain Bird
continues to center its focus on innovation, research and product optimization, and
strives to support its growers and their operational goals.
